  • Why should I contact a pest control professional?

  • Are pest control sprays safe for humans and pets?

    Generally they are safe but in some cases you might be asked to vacate the premises especially if there are small kids in the house, someone who is pregnant or anyone who suffers from respiratory problems. Before any treatment is begun we will discuss it in detail with you and will answer any question you might have and will not start until we have your full permission and you know everything there is to know about what is to be done.

  • What is the difference between an ant and a termite?

    The wing size - termite wings are equal in length and extend to come past the abdomen whereas ants have wings that are unequal when it comes to length and end at the tip of the abdomen. 

    Antennae - A termite’s antennae is straight whilst the ant has elbowed antennae. 

    Waist size - Ants are recognisable by their pinched waists, whereas termites have no construction within their bodies and are more streamlined.

  • How often should I call a pest control professional?

    Other than when it’s truly necessary to call, a yearly inspection is always best in order to minimise infestations from developing further. Of course, it also depends on the environment, more regular treatments might be needed in different situations. 

  • Can I see another pest after treatment?

    Any treatment will see a strong reduction of pests within your premises, however total elimination might take a few days.

  • Are termites really a problem?

    Termites can attack the wood in your home, from beams to furniture they can rack up quite a cost when it comes to damage, in some cases it might also be unsafe as wood will fall apart if thoroughly attacked, in this case prevention is much better than the cure.

  • How long does it take to get rid of fleas, ticks and bed bugs?

    These types of pests are unlike other bugs and have different types of cycles. During certain phases of these life cycles treatments may not work and we have to catch them during a more vulnerable phase of the cycle for them to succumb to treatment.
